We have recently introduced a chlorine dioxide system for water purification, ensuring higher quality drinking water while minimizing environmental impact.

One of the most appreciated new features is the Belvedere hydro-pool, built with a water treatment system that uses natural technologies and limits the use of chemicals, offering relaxation and well-being in full harmony with the ecosystem.

To reduce energy consumption and promote the use of renewable sources, we have installed solar panels for water heating — a sustainable choice looking towards the future.

We’ve also installed a new water dispenser near the supermarket that provides both still and sparkling water — a convenient, eco-friendly service available to everyone.

Linen and towels are changed only upon request or after one week of stay — a simple yet meaningful choice to reduce water and energy waste and to encourage more mindful use of resources.

The irrigation system is fully automatic and uses untreated water.

We also reuse water from the pool to flush toilets in shared restrooms.

We have always pursued numerous environmental initiatives with the goal of protecting biodiversity, reducing ecological impact, and promoting a more sustainable lifestyle.

In 2021, we inaugurated our farm La Rocca del Garda, along with its animal park — a project that combines nature, education, and sustainable production. Here, we passionately cultivate organic olive oil and wine, local products grown with full respect for the environment.

We have carried out significant reforestation efforts, planting over 200 tall trees and more than 7,000 hedge plants, thus contributing to green regeneration and landscape conservation.
In 2023, we completed the construction of our new Top Due accommodations, built using recycled materials and cork walls — a natural, insulating, and eco-friendly solution.

At our restaurant Botanika, we are committed to maintaining a plastic-free environment, prioritizing compostable or reusable materials to minimize waste.

We constantly monitor our recycling stations to ensure effective waste separation, also by providing guests with a dedicated waste-sorting kit upon arrival. Whenever possible, we choose eco-friendly materials across all our activities and facilities.

All our cleaning products are certified and Ecolabel-compliant.

To reduce CO₂ emissions, La Rocca Camping Village commits annually to purchasing CO₂ equivalent credits through selected partners, achieving an active offset of more than 50% of its total direct emissions.

Energy efficiency is one of the cornerstones of our environmental commitment, and in recent years we have invested in smart technological solutions to reduce consumption and minimize the environmental impact of our facilities.

We have installed a 100 kWh photovoltaic system, allowing us to produce clean, renewable energy and contribute to the reduction of CO₂ emissions.

Our electricity service is managed by an advanced home automation system, which optimizes energy use, prevents waste, and ensures greater efficiency across all operational areas.

For the new public lighting, we chose dimmable LED lights that adjust automatically during the night to reduce light pollution and lower energy consumption. In total, we have installed over 2,000 low-energy lamps in both common areas and private units.

Our latest innovation is the introduction of a new cogeneration unit capable of producing 40 kWh thermal and 20 kWh electric energy.

In a large area of the campsite, we have replaced traditional asphalt paths with Biostrasse — an innovative, eco-friendly technology free from hydrocarbon-derived substances, thanks to the complete absence of plastics and fossil-based materials.These pavements are both permeable and heat-resistant, as they do not absorb or radiate heat, helping to preserve the surrounding microclimate.

In addition, the boiler unit has been upgraded by replacing the old systems with low-emission condensing boilers, providing even greater energy savings.

We believe that sustainability goes beyond actions — it also involves education and awareness.
That’s why we’ve chosen to host a range of activities in our Animal Park dedicated to discovering and respecting nature, aimed at both adults and children.

Among these, we’re proud to collaborate with Progetto Natura Verona Lago – www.progettonaturaveronalago.it
– an organization committed to the rescue, care, and rehabilitation of local wildlife in the Lake Garda area.

This initiative, along with experiences such as our alpaca walk and the Bee Experience, offers a responsible and educational way to connect with the animal world, helping raise awareness — among both young and old — about the importance of biodiversity and the need to protect the living beings that inhabit our ecosystem.
